My name is Sid Good. I offer inclusive and affirmative counselling online to people around the world.

I work with people from all walks of life in a warm but practical way, and I am particularly interested in creating a space in therapy for you to explore your uniqueness and your special contribution to the world.
My particular area of interest is LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy. I am also interested in working with gender and relationship diversity, and with neurodiversity. I am someone who has experienced the benefits of therapy and, as a queer trans man, I know it can be comforting to work with a therapist who has personal experience in this area.
I am a Psychotherapist registered with the UKCP and BACP, with a Master’s and advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Newman University (Level 7).
I specialise in relational integrative psychotherapy with a gestalt core, complemented by psychodynamic and CBT components. Throughout my master’s programme, I conducted research on gender identity.
If you are interested in working with me in therapy, please contact me for more details and availability.
I work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and I am experienced in helping people facing a wide range of different issues. While I have a particular interest in exploring gender and sexual identity (gender dysphoria, transgender identities, LGBTQ+ identities), issues relating to neurodiversity (including but not limited to autism and ADHD), and issues around families, relationships and attachments, my experience is continually growing and changing. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions about whether we can work together on the topics you might like to bring to therapy.
I offer a warm but practical approach to therapy. My training is in integrative psychotherapy, which means I study different types of therapy and have formed an approach that can be tailored to your needs and therapeutic goals. At the core of my training and approach is gestalt, which focuses on awareness and what happens in the current moment (here and now). I also integrate psychodynamic therapy, which looks at how our past and in particular our childhoods influence our current ways of being, as well as some CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), which offers practical ways of coping with the world. I work relationally, which means I place emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and what happens between us. I am particularly interested in somatic experiences and an embodied approach to therapy, and I use physical cues to help us both figure out what is going on.

People seek counselling for a wide range of highly individual reasons. Perhaps you are looking for closure or understanding about certain events in your life. Maybe you have questions about your identity and want help in understanding who you are. You might be struggling to cope with the world, or to understand your place in it, or looking for ways to cope with anxiety, fears or low mood on a day-to-day basis.
You might be seeking help and support around bereavement, relationship changes, transitions or global events, or you may have simply arrived at a new place in your life. By working together, we can explore what you are facing in an affirmative, safe environment, and help you identify the patterns that shape your life. By understanding yourself more deeply, you can create the possibility for change.
Psychotherapy and counselling can help with a range of issues, from self-esteem, depression, anxiety and trauma, to issues around identity such as gender, sexuality and race. Acknowledging how these issues are linked to and shaped by society and the world around us is an important aspect of LGBTQ+ inclusive and identity affirmative therapy.
I am currently working online with clients from my base in London, UK. I find that online work offers rich potential for therapeutic connection.
Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place on a weekly basis. The cost per session is £90.
I am currently accepting new clients for sessions on Mondays and Fridays online. I have also opened a waitlist for other appointments which will soon become available throughout the week.
I offer some concessionary slots for those in financial hardship and solidarity slots for those who experience financial hardship and systemic oppression. Please contact me for more details and availability.
If you are wondering whether you might like to work with me, I offer a 20-minute free introductory call where we can talk about your goals and your interest in therapy.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about therapy, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it might be helpful for you, and whether I am the right counsellor to help you.
I offer a 20-minute free introductory call.
